Malham Tarn Weekend 2001
In August 2001 nearly 40 keen microscopists gathered at the Malham Tarn Field Centre near Skipton to gather specimens, examine them and exchange information. This small website acts as a personal memory of the weekend by Jeremy Poole, a first time visitor to Malham Tarn, and very much a beginner at microscopy.
The field centre is owned by the National Trust and run by the Field Studies Council.
This is an evening view of the Tarn from above the house.
